A Study on Hair Damage and Awareness Improvement in Darkening Shampoo and Hair Salon Dyeing Abstract The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of darkening shampoo and hair salon dyeing on hair, improve consumers` awareness, and suggest healthy hair care methods. Darkening shampoo provides a natural dyeing effect, but can cause hair damage if used continuously. Hair salon dyeing is a professional procedure and is highly satisfactory, but hair damage is inevitable during the chemical process. The study was conducted in parallel with a survey and experiment on 25 women from their 20s to 60s. The survey evaluated the perception, frequency of use, and satisfaction of darkening shampoo and hair salon dyeing, and the experiment measured the degree of hair damage. As a result of the analysis, both products received positive perceptions, but the satisfaction of hair salon dyeing was higher.
