The Power of Myths Throughout history, people got curious of their surroundings - the famous example is the changing of day and night, summer and winter. Since our ancestors had no way to properly explain why, they have thought of ‘myths’ and ‘stories’ with supernatural figures, and believed it. However, in modern times, some people had come up with a way that can provide logical and convincing answers to everyone in the world - this is called science. It starts with the idea that we don’t know everything and there are so many things we don’t know, or not sure of what we now believe is true. So, instead of the old-fashioned idea that someone (such as god or local tribe priest) knows everything and we should just go and ask them, we can perform various experiments or test our models to get closer to the truth.
