I. 서론
Cerebral aneurysm, or brain aneurysm, is a significant clinical condition characterized by the localized dilation or ballooning of a weakened segment of a cerebral artery. This vascular anomaly can occur anywhere in the arteries of the brain, though it predominantly develops at the bifurcations of arteries where the blood flow dynamics create stress on the vessel walls. The pathophysiology involves a complex interplay of genetic, environmental, and hemodynamic factors that contribute to the weakening of the vessel wall. Aneurysms can be classified into various types, with saccular (berry) aneurysms being the most common form found in the population.
