¡°John Brown, Address to the Virginia Court (1859)¡±
John Brown, a religious man who wants to abolish slavery, fought with his sons in Virginia. Later, he was captured and sentenced to death. In his address to Virginia Court, he says that he did not intend to murder, destruct properties or raise rebellion. Furthermore, he stated that the Bible taught him to treat others well as they are supposed to treat you well. In addition, he said that, ¡°Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with
