2. 평가도구
RPM 지능검사 중에서 CPM을 사용하였다. CPM은 3 세트로 구성되어있고, 각 세트는 12문항씩 총 36문항으로 구성되어 있다. 또한 각 세트별로 시작 문항의 난이도는 비슷하지만, 중간이후부터는 난이도가 조금씩 올라간다. 각 문항을 해결하기 위한 기본 능력은 유사점, 차이점, 그리고 동일성을 지각하는 기초 능력을 요구한다. 세트 후반부로 갈수록 난이도가 올라가기 때문에 연령별 평균 수행곡선은 낮아지도록 되어있다. RPM의 이런 특성은 CPM, SPM, SPM-plus, APM 일정하게 유지되기 때문에, 정답 수는 백분위상의 위치를 비교할 수 있게 해주지만, 곡선의 형태는 심리적 특성 가령, 집중력과 지속성 등을 이해할 수 있도록 해준다. RPM 지능검사는 시각 기능에 현저한 손상 장애인 외의 모든 장애인에게 적용할 수 있는 유망한 검사이다(Anastasia, 1990). 이 검사는 시간제한이 없고, 간단한 언어지시 혹은 간단한 시범만으로도 검사를 수행할 수 있다.
Raven 검사는 시공간적 지각력과 추론 능력을 평가하는 것이다(Raven, 1977). 이 검사의 가장 큰 장점은 언어능력이나 언어적 설명이 필요 없고, 최소한의 운동기능만 요구되는 범문화적인 검사이다…(생략)
