언어학 석사 지원 에세이

I have a high command of Russian language, and am studying English to prepare myself for my study in the USA. I studied English for more than a year in Korea, and stayed in LA for 3 months in 2003 to prepare for and take GRE exam. I hope that my study in Russian linguistics, especially in morphology and phonetics, can help Korea to develop a balanced point of view to look at its relationship with Russia and can contribute to developing Korean-Russian or Russian-Korean translating software. In the first place, however, I would like to go for what interests me the most by studying Russian linguistics, and I believe that my lot of contribution to the society will follow my professional standing as a scholar.
