본문/내용
본 연구에서의 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 친족행동 대상의 범위는 친족행동의 유형에 따라 차이가 있는데, 그 내용은 다음과 같다.
1) 일상적 행동은 아내나 남편 모두 친가와 시가(처가)의 4촌까지인 경우가 가장 많았다.
2) 의례적 행동은 친가와 시가(처가) 모두 4촌까지가 높은 분포를 보이며, 다른 유형의 친족행동에 비해 8촌까지 행해지는 경향이 있다.
3) 가사협조나 경제적 도움은 2촌까지에서 행해지는 경우가 가장 많으며, 5촌 이상에서는 거의 이루어지지 않았다. 그리고 모든 친족과 이루어지지않는 경우도 10%내외를 차지하였다.
이러한 결과에 의하면, 결혼초기 부부의 친족행동 대상의 범위는 민법 777조에 규정된 8촌 이내의 혈족, 4촌 이내의 인척, 배우자라는 친족의 법적 범위에 비하여 훨씬 축소되어 있음을 알 수 있다.
둘째, 아내의 친족행동 대상은 의례적 행동에서만 친가보다 시가친족의 범위가 더 넓게 나타났으나 남편의 친족행동 대상의 범위는 일상적 행동, 의례적 행동, 경제적 도움에서 처가보다 친가친족의 범위가 더 넓게 나타났다.

ABSTRACT
Kinship Behavior of Marital Couples in Early Stage
The aims of this study are to discover general aspects of the kinship behavior shown from married couples in their early stage of marriage, and also the socio-demographic variables that had influenced on the kinship behavior.
The research has based on a comprehensive survey with 136 married couples within 5 years of marital life. Statistical methods, including frequencies, percentage, mean, standard deviation, pared t-test, t-test, and ANOVA utilizing the SPSS for Windows 8.0, have been adopted for the analysis of the data compiled.
The findings of this study were as follows:
First, Many of the wives and husbands included in the sample group have shown ordinary behavior to their and their spouses kin within the 4 Chon. Courtesy behavior could be seen from their relationship with their and their spouses kin within the 8 Chon. However, activities such as household assistant and economic aid were mostly limited to kin of 2 Chon.
Second, Husbands appeared to maintain a stronger solidarity with their native kin than with the kin-in-law, while wives were proved to be more active with their kin-in-law in terms of showing courtesy behavior. However, wives also disclosed either bilateral or native tendency in regards to other kinship behaviors shown towards their kin and kin-in-law.
Third, Variables such as distance to the kin, number of children, level of education, and difference of economic status between kin and kin-in-law have influenced the kinship behavior of the wives, and number of children and birth order of husband, for the kinship behavior of husbands.
