생화학적 특성을 이용한 장내 세균 동정

(1) 장내세균

① 호기성 조건(aerobic condition)에서 대변을 배양하여 얻은 세균

: Enterobactericeae
: 그람음성(gram negative)의 단순 영양요구성 (simple growth requirement)세균
: non-spore forming, facultative anaerobic bacilli
: Escherichia, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Citrovbacter, Salmonella, Shigella, Yersinia

② Enterobactericeae에 속하는 세균과 Vibrio를 합쳐 장내세균 (Enteric bacteria)

③ 사람의 장에는 이들 외에도 다음의 세균이 존재

: Pseudomonas와 같은 gram negative facultative anaerobes
: 그람양성의 Streptococcus faecalis, Lactobacillus, Staphylococcus
: 혐기성의 Bacteroides (obligate anaerobic)
(2) 장내 세균의 일반적 특성

① 그람 음성의 통성혐기성 간균

② Pili, capsule을 가지고 있으며, 세포벽에 endotoxin(LPS)를 가지고 있음

③ 포도당(glucose)을 발효하여 산 (acid)을 생산

: mixed acid fermentation (lactic acid, acetic acid, formic acid, succinic acid ,)

④ Nitrate를 nitrite로 환원

⑤ Cytochrome oxidase를 생산하지 않음

⑥ Shigella, Klebsiella를 제외한 세균은 주모성 편모 (peritrichous flagella)가 있음

⑦ 포도당이외의 다른 당을 탄소원으로 쓰며, 이 성질은 분류에 이용됨

⑧ Salmonella, Shigella, Yersinia등을 제외하고, 대부분은 기회 감염균(opportunistic pathogen)
