다음 아래와 같은 발견들이 1장에서 제기되었던 연구 질문들에 맞추어져서 토의, 제기된다. 아래의 토의사항들은 질문지에서의 결과와 면접에서의 교사들의 논평을 기본으로 하여 이루어져있다.
연구문제1 : 한국의 교사들로 하여금 교육에 있어서 공학기술(기자재)을 활용 하는데 영향을 미치는 요인은 어떠한 것이 있는가?
자료 분석에 의하면, 응답자중의 과반수가 넘는 교사들이 교육공학을 수업에 활용하는 것은 그것이 주는 가치에 비해서 비용이 더 든다고 지적하고 있다. 또 다른 중요한 발견 점은 과반수가 넘는 교사들이 지적하기를 교육공학의 활용은 교사로부터 많은 노동력을 필요로 한다고 대답한 것이다. 25% 이상의 교사들이 교육공학을 활용하는 수업은 수업의 분위기를 비인간화시킨다고 느끼고 있고, 33% 이상의 교사는 이것에 대하여 아무런 의견을 제시하지 않았다.
이러한 교사들의 태도와 인식들이 수업에서 다양한 교육공학의 활용에 관한 관심을 저해시키고 있다. 교육공학의 활용에 관한 유용성과 잇점등에 관하여 교사 재교육을 통하여 제공하든지, 또는 이러한 잇점이나 유용성에 관하여 좀 더 광범위한 홍보활동을 행하는 등의 노력이 있음으로 해서 교사들의 이같은 견해들이 바뀌어 질 수 있을 것이다. 4장의 교사 훈련과 교육공학의 활용능력에 대한 관계의 조사에서, 우리는 교육공학의 활용에 관한 훈련을 받은 교사와 훈련을 받지 않은 교사간의 차이점(활용능력)을 뚜렷이 볼 수 있다. 교육현장에서 실질적인 기술을 응용, 활용할 수 있는 조직적이고…
