시제(Tense)

1. 현재진행 It is raining now. (진행중 동작) He is always gambling. (always, constantly, continually --반복적 습관) 2. 과거진행 He was reading a book when I entered the room. He was shot while he was speaking on the platform. I was studying English when you called on me yesterday. 3. 미래진행 He will be reading a novel when we go to bed. We`ll be thinking of you when we get to Paris. 4. 진행형으로 쓰지 않는 동사 a. 존재, 상태 : be, exist, seem, look, appear, resemble He resembles his father. b. 지각동사 : feel, see, smell, hear, taste, cf) look at, watch, listen to I see her swimming in the pool. cf) I am seeing the sights of Seoul. (관광하다) I am seeing no one today.
