고소자인 야웨 하나님은 우주적 법정에 피고로서의 이스라엘을 소환한다. 여기서 야웨와 이스라엘 사이에 맺어진 계약관계가 전제된다. 이것은 선지서들에서도 잘 나타나는 개념으로 고대 이스라엘의 언약관계와 그에 따른 언약적 역사적 사건에 대한 회고로 대부분의 이스라엘 구성원들이 익히 잘 알고 있는 사실이기도 하다. 게다가 미가 선지자는 다른 선지자들과는 달리 더 자세하게 고대 이스라엘의 언약에 관련된 사건들을 언급하고 있다. 그는 모세와 아론, 미리암을 언급하고 있으며, 이것이 다른 선지자들과는 다른 색다른 언급이라 하더라도 이것을 비미가적 첨가(즉 포로기 시대)라고 볼 수는 없는 것이다. 고대 역사의 언급에 있어서 신명기적 용어를 사용했다는 이유로 후대의 편집을 말하나, 이것은 정반대로 조직적이며 통일된 전승의 선재(즉 정경적 문헌들)를 증거하며 그 보고속에서 필요한 내용을 취사선택하여 야웨와 이스라엘과의 언약관계에 대한 적절한 메시지의 증거본문으로 사용하였음을 보여준다고 볼 수 있다). 어쨌든 이것이 미가 자신만의 독특한 표현과 사상적 전개는 아니다. 이스라엘의 민족적, 종교적 토대는 바로 `출애굽 전승`으로 비롯되…(생략)
