A letter of application is a sales letter in which you are both salesperson and product, for the purpose of an application is to attract an employer`s attention and persuade him or her to grant you an interview.
자기소개서는 본인 당신이 상품판매자이고 상품이라는 점에서 판매제안서이고, 자기소개서의 목적은 고용주의 주의를 끌고, 고용주로 하여금 지원자를 면담을 허락한다는 생각이 들도록 설득하는 것이다.
To do this, the letter presents what you can offer the employer, rather than what you want from the job.
