The LEGACY OF THE PAST
°ú°Å·ÎºÎÅÍÀÇ À¯»ê
In 1896, more tham 1,500 years after the ancient Games were banned, the first modern Olympic Games featured many references to this legacy of Greek Antiquity. The IOC`s decision to hold  them in Athens(Greece) was a reminder that Olympic Games originated in Greece. The majority of the competitions took place in the ancient stadium(the Pananthenaic Stadium), which was restored for the occasion. Most of the sports on the programme of the ancient Olympic Games were echoed  in the modern Games. 1896³â, °í´ë °æ±â°¡ ±ÝÁöµÈ ÀÌÈÄ 1500³âÀÌ ´õ Áö³ª¼, ÃÖÃÊÀÇ ±Ù´ë ¿Ã¸²ÇÈ °æ±â°¡ °í´ë ±×¸®½º½Ã´ëÀÇ ¸¹Àº ºÎºÐÀ» Âü°íÇÏ¿© ¹°·Á¹ÞÀ½À¸·Î½á ÇüŸ¦ °®Ãß°Ô µÇ¾ú´Ù. ±¹Á¦¿Ã¸²ÇÈÀ§¿øȸ´Â ¿Ã¸²ÇÈ °æ±â°¡ ±×¸®½º¿¡¼ ±â¿øµÇ¾ú´Ù´Â °ÍÀ» »ó±â½Ã۱â À§ÇÏ¿© ù¹ø° °æ±â¸¦ ±×¸®½º ¾ÆÅ׳׿¡¼ °®±â·Î °áÁ¤ÇÏ¿´´Ù.
