■ What is Managerial Ethics?
▷ Ethics is the code of moral principles and values that govern the behavior of a person or group with respect to what is right or wrong.
- Ethics deals with internal values that are a part of corporate culture and shapes decisions concerning social responsibility with respect to the external environment.
- Three domains of human action(Human behavior) (3)
¤ Domain of Codified Law(Legal Standard)
¤ Domain of Ethics(Social Standard)
¤ Domain of Free Choice(Personal Standard).
▷ Ethical dilemma is a situation that arises when all alternative choices or behaviors have been deemed undesirable because of potentially negative consequences, making it difficult to distinguish right from wrong. (Moral agent - ethical decision을 해야 하는 사람)
