Ⅱ. 기업의 본질
여기서 주목하여야할 점은 가치는 주관적이며 또한 상대적인 성질을 가지고 있다는 점이다. 어떤 재화·서비스가 거래된다고 하자. 거래가격을 이 재화·서비스의 가치라고 생각한다. 각각 당사자가 인정하는 거래가격이 일치한 점에서 비로소 거래는 성립한다. 물론 매도자로서는 거래가격이 높으면 높을수록, 매입자로서는 낮으면 낮을수록 바람직하다. 따라서 각각의 거래당사자가 일방적으로 거래가격을 결정할 수는 없다. 어떻게 해서라도 …(생략)
1. 가치창출시스템으로서의 기업
국제기업이란 무엇인가를 고찰하기 위해서는 먼저 기업 그 자체의 본질에 대해서 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 기업이란 투입재(input)를 구입하여 그것에 어떠한 가치를 부가한 뒤에 산출(output)로서의 재화 혹은 서비스를 판매하는 활동이라고 생각할 수 있다. 따라서 산출재의 가치는 적어도 기업활동의 수행에 필요한 비용 즉 투입재의 가치보다도 높지 않으면 안된다. 바꾸어 말하면 기업활동에 의해서 투입재가 본래 지니고 있는 가치를 증대시키지 않으면 안되는 것이다. 따라서 기업의 본질은 가치창조이며 기업은 가치창출을 위한 투입-산출시스템이다.여기서 주목하여야할 점은 가치는 주관적이며 또한 상대적인 성질을 가지고 있다는 점이다. 어떤 재화·서비스가 거래된다고 하자. 거래가격을 이 재화·서비스의 가치라고 생각한다. 각각 당사자가 인정하는 거래가격이 일치한 점에서 비로소 거래는 성립한다. 물론 매도자로서는 거래가격이 높으면 높을수록, 매입자로서는 낮으면 낮을수록 바람직하다. 따라서 각각의 거래당사자가 일방적으로 거래가격을 결정할 수는 없다. 어떻게 해서라도 …(생략)
