1) 노인적 특성을 고려해야한다.
신체적, 심리적 특성을 일반인과 비교해서 적용해야 한다. 특히 반응의 개별적 인 나이, 병명 등 그 특성을 고려해야 한다. 또한 그 반응의 폭도 시간의 흐름에 따 라 다르게 나타나며, 치료사가 갖는 기대의 유동성도 고려해야한다. 특히 노인에게 있어 뇌가 손상을 입었으면 그 손상부위에 따라 음악의 처리도 다르게 나타난다. 우뇌와 전두엽 손상자는 음고지각에 어려움을 보인다.(Shapiro et al, 1981) 측두엽 이나 Broca`s Area가 손상당하면 노래의 형태(같다, 다르다)의 지각에 어려움을 보 인다.(Grossman et al., 1981) 왼쪽 뇌혈관 손상자는 리듬변화를 알아내는 것과 새 로운 멜로디를 노래하는 것에 서툴렀다.(Prior, Kinsella & Giese, 1990) 호프만과 그 의 동료(1993)는 음악과 언어는 아마도 공통된 반구영역을 공유할 것이다는 연구를 했다. 이런 뇌의 손상뿐 아니라 일반 양로원에 있는 노인에게도 퇴행적 변인은 찾 을 수 있다. 청각적인 부분에서는 보청기를 사용하는지, 사용하더라도 제대로 작동 하는지를 살펴야한다. 노인들의 발성범위는 젊은 사람보다 적은…(생략)참고문헌
