In recent, we can easily the article about donut market. `Mr dounuts` which is owned by Japaness company opened for the first time in Meong-Dong. While there is only Dunkin Donuts and Krispykreme company. It raises 30% of growth rate due to change eating pattern which is more convenient.
The major donut company is Dunkin Donuts. The nuber of shop is 486 that is 90% of whole market. But in 2004 there is no strong possession in donut ma¡¦(»ý·«)
Kreme, bought the yeast-raised recipe from French man and opened first krispy kreme in north Carolina in 13th.july.1937. An Early stage, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts(KKD) just delivered frozen doughnuts to local supermarkets. But customers requested to have hot doughnuts instantly, so KKD started to sell the doughnuts. KKD assumed the form of smallchained shop usually.
Original Glazedwas made and sold by the same recipe from all branches, but they were selling different kinds of doughnuts for each shop. So KKD tried to set the same channel systems and produce mixed powder manufactured in bulk by vertical integration.
Krispy Kreme founded in south-east areain U.S tried to branch out to New York in 1996, and then started to work up the branches all nation wide. From 2001, in Canada as a first shop in foreign country, now KKD has over 400 branches all over the world such as Mexico, Australia, U.K.
