When a company is growing larger there will come a time when it has to choose which activities it wants to focus on. In the modern economy it is very hard to run all parts of a multinational company by itself. Therefore more and more multinationals decide to hire another specialized company to do part of their activities for them. This phenomenon is also known as outsourcing.

When a company chooses to outsource some of their activities it is important to make the best decision in choosing the potential partner. This decision depends on many factors, for example in which countries the company and the partnerare located, the quality of the services or goods that the partner can deliver, how well the corporate cultures match each other and other things.
