본문/내용

이처럼 구체노동/추상노동의 개념쌍과 사적노동/사회적노동의 개념쌍은 사실상 전혀 다른 사용가치 개념에 입각하고 있다. 따라서 상품의 가치크기 결정과정에 대해서도 이론적으로 전혀 다른 입장을 시사한다. 이것은 ꡔ정치경제학 비판ꡕ에서 맑스 자신에 의해 “그리하여 상품들이 한편으로는 대상화된 일반적 노동시간으로서 교환과정에 들어가야하고 다른 한편으로는 개인들의 노동시간의 일반적 노동시간으로서의 대상화 자체는 교환과정의 결과라는 새로운 어려움이 생겨난다”(Marx(1987a), p.286).
라는 상호모순된 명제로 정식화되어 있다. 여기서 맑스가 말하는 ‘개인들의 노동시간의 일반적 노동시간으로의 대상화’는 이질적인 노동시간들의 추상노동시간으로의 환원을 가리킨다. 따라서 위의 인용문에서 맑스는 환원 절차에 대해 두 가지 상호 모순된 견해를 동시에 개진하고 있는 셈이다. 가치크기 결정에 관한 첫번째 입장에 따를 때, 환원은 교환과정 이전에 이루어지며 이 환원의 결과 교환가치(상품의 교환비율)가 결정된다. 한편 두번째 입장에 따르면 환원은 교환과정의 결과로서 사후적으로 이루어진다. 즉 교환가치(상품의 교환비율)가 …(생략)
