현 시대에서 기독교는 종교 이상의 의미를 갖는다.
Christianity has value beyond religion in the present times.
서구중심의 사회에서 종교라 하면 기독교를 먼저 떠올린다. 기독교란 인간에게 영향을 주고 현 사회의 흐름에 따른 영향을 받는다. 인간은 종교와 불가분의 관계에 있다.
We are reminded of christianity of all religions of western culture. It affects a human-being and is affected by flow of the modern society. A man is in separably related to religion.
인간에게 종교가 없다는 것은 자기 자신을 신격화 하여 우상화한다. 기독교는 그러한 인간의 오만심을 누르고 자신이 상대적인 존재하고 깨달게 한다.
That a human-being has no religion defies and idolizes for himself. Christianity oppresses man`s proud and makes himself realize relative-being.
기독교는 외적인 요인과 내적인 요인에 영향을 받는다. 먼저 외적인 요인으로는 시민사회의 형성과 과학 기술의 진보이다.
